01. Scope of practice
LifeStrong PR Wellness Center is a multidisciplinary wellness facility. Every clinical treatment is administered or supervised by a licensed practitioner, including Doctors of Physical Therapy and Medical Doctors, in line with the regulatory standards of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Our services focus on non-invasive recovery, pain management and wellness support. While several of our staff hold medical licenses, your primary care physician should remain your main point of contact for overall health management, especially for conditions unrelated to the treatments we provide.
Before any treatment begins, a licensed practitioner reviews your intake history and current health status to confirm the plan is appropriate for you. If a condition falls outside our scope of practice, we'll tell you directly and, where possible, point you toward a more suitable provider rather than proceeding anyway.
02. FDA clearance statements
The equipment used across our clinics is FDA-cleared for the specific indications listed below. FDA clearance means the manufacturer has demonstrated the device is substantially equivalent to another legally marketed device, not that it works identically for every patient or every condition.

LifeStrong PR Wellness Center is not an emergency medical facility. Our services are elective and scheduled in advance. We don't treat life-threatening conditions, acute trauma, or unstable medical emergencies of any kind.

Clinical staff at LifeStrong PR maintain active professional licenses in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. We comply with HIPAA regulations around patient privacy and data security, and our internal quality assurance program makes sure every practitioner is trained specifically on the equipment used in our facilities.
06. Off-label use disclosure
In certain situations, a practitioner may decide a treatment is medically appropriate for something outside its primary FDA-cleared indication. This is known as off-label use, and it's a routine part of medical practice. Any such recommendation gets discussed during your consultation, along with the evidence and reasoning behind it, before you agree to move forward.

Medical technology and regulatory guidance change over time, so we review and update this page periodically to reflect current FDA clearance statuses and clinical protocols. We recommend checking back before booking a new treatment if it's been a while since your last visit, since indications and equipment can be added, retired or reclassified.
